War of the pads.

Not long ago Apple came out with a tablet device called iPad, it is widely supported by consumers and had been the undisputed champion on the market, but recently Samsung also came out with an android base Samsung Galaxy tab to challenge Apple's iPad, they have also done something like this in the past like coming out with Samsung galaxy S, which was suppose to be a Iphone killer.

So what makes the Galaxy tab a strong opponent to iPad? Lets's take a look at the difference specs of both devices.

By looking at the specs we can see that both have the same processor speed, Galaxy tab is smaller, lighter meaning it's more portable, have a front and rear camera and twice the amount of ram. The only losing part is the battery life and lack of application in the Android market.

    Great review! Now it's a matter of time for me to consider in getting an ipad or a Samsung galaxy tab. :D

    Comparing to the application wise, which pads are much user friendly and easy availably to search it on the internet - ipad or Samsung galaxy tab?

    the blog's really informative. you should do lots of this compare & contrast thing. :) sadly, they haven't released the price of Samsung galaxy tab. that'd be what most potential customers want to know. -FATIN

    Talking about application apple appstore totally beat android market hands down. I'm not too sure about user friendlness, must get must hands on one first.

    Hey! The i pads are certainly cool but they are too expensive for us students.So we would have to save or earn more money(: hahaha!

    For me , it would depends on why I am using it for. If it is like watching movie etc, I would prefer Ipad since it has a much bigger screen? I would choose Galaxy Tab for flash video, camera, better bluetooth and much lighter weight,nearly half of Ipad's weight.

    I'll prefer to watch movies on the big screen rather then on a iPad and the smaller size equates extra mobility. The flash support for galaxy tab is one of the biggest advantage over iPad, as there is so much Flash content in the internet like youtube, flashgames and etc.

    wow apple is definitely a trendsetter for this. more brands are catching up and modifying apple's invention to come up with better and efficient products. poor Apple! well reading what's stated in your blog post, seems like samsung has better features than apple iPad.
